Mumbai: The talented actress of film industry Shabana Azmi (18 September 1950) has turned 67 years old. Shabana Azmi has been awarded the National Award for Best Actress 5 times which is a record. As much as Shabna did for her performance, she got the same headlines about personal life. Before marrying Javed Akhtar, Shabana's name was also associated with film maker Shekhar Kapur. Javed and Shabana's Love Story is a movie. Javed Akhtar's first marriage was from Honey.

Honey was 10 years younger than Javed. They had two children too. In 1970, Javed Akhtar used to learn the art of writing from Kaifi Azmi. At the same time, his heart came on Cafahi Azmi's daughter Shabana. The news of the affair of both of them did not delay reaching the media.
When Honey came to know of this, there was a quarrel in the house everyday. But because of the children, Javed did not want to leave Honey. Seeing the dispute in the house everyday, Honey allowed Javed to go to Shabana. He told Javed that he should go to Shabana and not worry about children.

Then Javed decided to divorce Honey and marry Shabana. There were difficulties in both the marriage too. Because Kaifi Azmi did not want her daughter to marry a married man. No one else has the power to move ahead of love. Kaifi Azmi did not even go and Shabana married Javed in 1984
He was first honored with the film 'Ankur' in 1975, 'Arth' in 1983, 'Khandahar' in 1984, 'Par' in 1985 and 'Godmother' in 1999.

Shabana Azmi left his best impression on the audience in 'Artha', 'Nishant', 'Ankur', 'Touch', 'Mandi', 'Maasoom', 'Pastean Ji' Alongside these critical films, Shabana also maintained her identity in the mainstream commercial films. In his commercial films like 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Parvarish', 'I Azad Hoon', he made an identity among the common audience by filling his acting colors.

Remember Priti Sabarwal from Chak De! India? Well the actress, Sagarika Ghatge is all set to join the lines of Bollywood actresses to get hitched to a cricketer. Wedding bells are all set to ring for the pretty lady as she's going to marry cricketer Zaheer Khan on November 27 this year.  Zaheer proposed to Sagarika in May this year and made it official. Their closeness grabbed eyeballs during Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech's wedding last year and post their engagement in May, speculations about their wedding have been rife.  Finally, Sagarika revealed the date of their wedding to The Indian Express to be November 27.
